  • A so-called session cookie is set, which is technically necessary. It will be deleted automatically after leaving our website by your browser.
  • On this website we use Google Maps. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enable you to use the map function conveniently. By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the IP address of the calling computer is the date and time of the request. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want your profile to be associated with Google, you must log out before clicking on the link. In addition, location data may be collected by Google itself, depending on the setting by the user. Purposes of the processing:

  • Log files and technical cookies: operation of the website, evaluation of malfunctions
  • Google Maps: Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such evaluation takes place in particular (even for users who are not logged in) for the provision of needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.   • The legal basis for the processing by Google Maps is Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR. In the case of the user’s consent, the legal basis for the processing of the data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a GDPR.

  • Google Maps: We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by Google.

Retention period:

  • Log files and technical cookies: The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of their collection. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. In the case of the storage of the data in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated, so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.
  • Google Maps: We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by Google.

Revocation:

  • Log files: The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.
  • Technical cookies are stored on the user’s computer and transmitted by the user to our site. Therefore, you as a user also have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can disable or restrict the transmission of cookies. Already stored cookies can be deleted at any time, this can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, not all functions of the website can be fully used.
  • Google Maps: You can prevent the assignment to an existing profile at Google by logging out before activating the link. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right.

Our website uses so-called web fonts from Adobe Typekit for the uniform presentation of certain fonts. The provider is Adobe Systems Incorporated, 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA (Adobe). When you visit our pages, your browser loads the required fonts directly from Adobe in order to be able to display them correctly on your device. Your browser connects to the Adobe servers in the USA. This informs Adobe that our website has been accessed via your IP address. According to Adobe, no cookies are stored when the fonts are provided. Adobe has an EU-US Privacy Shield certification. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the United States of America and the European Union to ensure compliance with European data protection standards. Most of our customers, service providers, suppliers and business partners nominate one of their employees as contact person to SYMACON System + Service GmbH. We process the contact details of these contact persons as follows:

  • Notification by the contact person himself
  • Notification by another body of the customer, service provider, supplier or business partner.

Recipients of the data:

  • Management and internal departments, if necessary, a transfer to the sister companies.

Retention period:

  • After order fulfillment, the data are archived.
  • The data in the archive will be deleted after 10 years.

There is no obligation to transmit this data. The processing is also not absolutely necessary for the service/delivery. However, the effort for agreements would be disproportionately high without defined contact persons. In addition, the risk of misunderstandings would be very high. Therefore, there is a legitimate interest in this processing.

Applicants can send us their application in paper form or by e-mail, and if you apply to us, we process the following data from you:

Retention period: 

  • if you are hired: 10 years after the end of your employment with us
  • in the event of rejection: 6 months after rejection (unless you agree to a longer retention period).

The processing of the data is necessary for the examination of a recruitment. The conclusion of an employment contract is not possible without the provision of this data.

Persons under the age of 18 should not provide personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request, collect or disclose personal information about children and adolescents to third parties.
